It is a water-based medium for the craquelure technique. Apply a coat of acrylic paint to the object. Leave to dry. Apply Step1 over the entire surface. When the coat is completely dry and transparent, proceed to Step 2. Cracks should appear within 4-8 hours. If the cracks do not appear, you can blow dry the surface to speed up the process. On drying, the brown top coat cracks, allowing the acrylic paint to appear. To fix the result, apply a solvent-based varnish to the surface.
